Spring garden calendar
Our garden poem
Some students at Sutton College are attending a Horticulture Course and learning all about different aspects of looking after a garden. They are hoping to use these skills to find jobs or use the skills at home. This term they have been learning about seed planting and how to look after the bulbs they planted before Christmas.
As part of the Horticulture Course Pathway, the students are also improving their Maths, ICT and English skills. These skills will hopefully support them in their next steps to volunteering, applying for jobs and learning new life skills. This month they created a class poem about their experience working in the gardens at the Inclusion Center.
