Substantial professional health and safety experience in a managerial role, in a complex Estates, Facilities and Capital Development environment Good working knowledge of Estates, Facilities Management and Capital Development issues including building services, fire safety, asbestos and water hygiene

Experience of implementing 18001/45001 Experience of delivering H&S Training programmes

Demonstrable management and leadership skills, including the ability to ensure consistency of service provision Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships Ability to work in a customer focused environment and make rational, considered decisions in the event of any H&S incidents Good communicator at all levels able to engage with others and create understanding at all levels
