LOUPE Americas To Host Global Label Awards 2026 Entries are open for the Global Awards, cele- brating the very best in innovation and excel- lence across the label and packaging industry. The ceremony is set to take place on the open- ing day of LOUPE Americas 2026, formerly La- belexpo Americas, in Chicago, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on 15 September. Starting at 4pm at the Spotlight Stage, the awards will bring together industry leaders to recognize outstanding achievements across four key categories including:

The Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) hosted the 2026 Excellence in Flexography Awards, Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recognizing the highest level of print excel- lence. The evening also saw a host of other awards presented.

The Innovation Award awarded to com- panies that have developed a specific innova- tion, either as a supplier or converter. Entries will be judged based on the following criteria: Novel : A new and unique approach or technology. Functional : The innovation should work well and solve a problem. Impactful : The innovation should have a positive impact on the industry or consumers. The Sustainability Award which honors a sustainable product or process developed by a supplier, converter, or end-user in the label industry, recognizing: Reduction of environmental impact : Inno- vations in materials, technologies, or process- es that minimize environmental impact. Optimization for recycling : Solutions that enhance recyclability, incorporate com- postable or post-consumer recycled content, and promote a circular economy.

Entries for the Excellence in Flexography Awards topped more than 250 submissions in this year’s competition, with a total of 43 awards presented across multiple print segments. Leading the field, wide web captured 16 honors, followed by narrow web with 11, envelope with 5, preprint linerboard with 4, mid web with 4, corrugated with 3, and spe- cial achievements with 3, reflecting strong participation across both flexible packaging and paper-based applications. By award level, judges presented 12 gold medals, 13 silver, and 18 bronze, recognizing excellence in degree of difficulty, level of execu- tion and overall print quality across an increasingly competitive field. Several converters were presented with multiple awards. Among those earning repeated recognition were McDowell Label, Mondi Jackson and ROBERTS MART & CO LTD. Additional companies earn- ing multiple honors included Multi-Color Corporation, Emirates Printing Press L.L.C., Artcraft Label, The Robinette Company, ProAmpac and Smurfit Westrock.
