Nonpublic, Nonsectarian School Services
NPS services are an instructional component of the Desert Mountain Special Education Local Plan Area (DMSELPA) administrative unit. It is recognized that public schools cannot provide services to meet the needs of all children with disabilities. Some children will need such individualized and specialized services as can only be provided outside public education. NPS services will be provided only when the IEP team determines that no appropriate placement is available in the public school to meet the individual child’s needs.
