Fitness Center hours are 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, 7 days a week. Women’s steam room and men’s sauna are operational from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Members wishing to access the building before/after business hours need a PIN, apply here.

Trial Program: Individual Use of GX Studio

GROUP EXERCISE SCHEDULE

All classes meet in the GX Studio and are offered on a subscription basis. Classes that lack sufficient participation may be cancelled. Between the 15 th -25 th of each month, Members sign up for the next month’s classes online, by calling ext. 1234, or email john.porter@ancc.org. CSI (Core-Stretch Integration) ** Monday/Wednesday 6:00 PM A full-body workout that incorporates Pilates exercises to build core strength and stability, and soothing stretches (from Yoga). Fitness Fusion * Tuesday (for beginners) & Thursday 8:30 AM A combination of step aerobics, full-body toning, and core Designed specifically for golfers and tennis players, this class will incorporate slow paced yoga poses emphasizing static positions and extensions of the shoulders and hips to help open up tight joints. Forever Fit* Monday 4:00 PM/Thursday 11:00 AM (45 minutes) To help you stay active and healthy as you grow older, this class focuses on balance, flexibility, and light strengthening. Gentle Yoga ** Monday at 11:30 AM, Tuesday/Thursday 9:45 AM A slow-paced flow of Hatha Yoga which focuses on proper alignment, deep breathing, and standing balances. Pilates ** (All Levels) Monday/Wednesday 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Enjoy an age-defying full body workout. Gain core strength, flexibility, better balance and posture! This is a more advanced class with higher intensity flow but modifications will be offered. Alignment meets power with arm balances, inversions, and core work using small weights. Restorative Yoga** Tuesday 10:45 AM Appropriate for students seeking the benefits of a very relaxing, gentle and nourishing practice. No prior yoga experience is required. Toning + Abs * Tuesday/Thursday 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM A full-body workout with weights, body bars, med balls, and tubing, with an emphasis on core conditioning. Yoga Fusion ** Saturday 8:45 AM A quick workout combining yoga with strength training. Yoga Therapy ** Wednesday 9:45 AM Release tension while improving postural alignment. Props will be used as needed for modifications. conditioning, all in one class! Fitness Yoga* * Friday 5:45 PM Power Yoga Sunday 4:00 PM (75 minutes) **There will be no class on Easter Sunday

For the month of April, the House and Entertainment Committee has approved a trial program to allow individuals to use the Group Exercise Studio during times when there are no classes going on. Those wishing to use the studio must agree to the established rules and policies, available by clicking here, and must sign in and out when using the studio.

New Group Exercise Rates in April

After several years of keeping our rates flat, we will be increasing our subscription rates one dollar per class beginning Monday, 1 April 2019 (drop-in rates will also increase at a slightly higher rate). A standard class meet- ing four times per month will now cost $32 instead of $28; a specialty class will cost $44 instead of $40. Golf Flexibility Seminar

Denny Pinch, Personal Trainer and Certified Golf Fitness Specialist, will host a Golf Flexibility Seminar on Sunday, 7 April, at 1:00 PM in the Group Exercise Studio on the main level of the Clubhouse. This is a great opportunity to get an individualized flexibility program at a fraction of the cost of a personal training session. Poor flexibility for a golfer leads to lost distance, inconsistent shots, and overuse injuries to the back, shoulders, elbows, and wrists. In this seminar, you will go through a Golf Flexibility Analysis to discover exactly which golf muscles are so tight that they are impeding your swing. You will learn specific stretches designed to correct flexibility issues. Come dressed ready to stretch! Cost of the seminar is $20 per person. Please click here to sign-up.
