E mma, a veterinary nurse, and Craig, a warehouse supervisor, were previously renting in nearby Barnham, but their dream was to find a home they could call their own. When they first visited Wildbridge, they could see themselves enjoying one of its spacious and high-quality new homes, and it was great that they could use shared ownership to help with their purchase. Craig comments, “Buying our first home through shared ownership was the right route for us. It provided us with an unmissable opportunity, and I’m not sure that we could have got on the property ladder without it.We purchased a 35% share, and put down a £6,500 deposit, which I found to be very affordable. Had we wanted to buy this home on the open market, the deposit would have been unachievable.” Emma adds, “Hyde was excellent at helping us to understand the whole process and outline how it all worked – I can’t fault the service at all.
