Surrey Colleges Surrey’s Got Talent Hairdressing competition held at Nescot featured amazing student talent and creativity at all levels. The competition which saw participation from the Surrey FE group colleges, was open to Hairdressing Levels 1, 2 and 3 groups. Nescot students, Natalie King clinched the top spot and Zoe Dearnlaney secured second place for the Level 3 group in the category Avant-Garde with their design theme of Sustainability.
“I was recommended by my tutor to take part in the regional heat of WorldSkills UK and was thrilled to be one of the winners in my stage. Taking part in the competition was an amazing experience. The support and guidance I have received on the hairdressing course has been really helpful.”
