Feed Rate: 1-5kg depending on the fibre level of the base diet. Beef Cattle Flexible in the way it may be offered with maximum feed rates being; Young stock 0-1kg/head/day. Stores 2-3kg/head/day Finisher 4-5kg/head/day Dairy Cows: Can be fed in diet feeders; in concentrated mixes or trough feeders with maximum levels being 3.5-5kg/head/day Suckler Cattle: Has successfully been used as the sole concentrate feed for in calf suckler cows on a straw diet. Additional energy may be required after calving.
