Whether it’s developing your existing skills, learning new ones for a career change, or studying just for the pleasure of it, Nescot has lots to offer adults of all ages. But our campus here in Ewell is not just a centre for learning. Nescot is a wonderful college on a green and well-connected campus. And it’s not just us that say so. The Ofsted inspection here in January 2023 confirmed us as ‘Good’ in every area, with the inspectors saying that students and apprentices “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed.” This brochure gives you a little flavour of what Nescot provides for thousands of people from across the region. There’s loads more information on our website of course, and it would be great to welcome you to our campus for our ever-popular summer fair, or one of our regular Open Events, held throughout the year.

I’m Deaf, and I use speech and British Sign Language to communicate. Nescot and the Performing Arts department are really inclusive and welcoming, and everyone has been so supportive. I would 100% recommend my course to other Deaf students – being here has played a role in helping me grow and gain confidence. I plan on continuing to study drama at university.

Becoming a carpenter was a big career change for me, something I’d always dreamed of trying but didn’t really get the opportunity before. After chatting with the Nescot team I decided to go for it! I’m super supported by my employer (Ridgeback) and at Nescot. I love the work and enjoy getting involved in every aspect of the project, it’s been a wonderful experience.

We love having apprentices, because it’s a great way of continuing to improve our collective skills and expertise. Our apprentices can learn from the expertise of our experienced colleagues, and the whole team benefits from keeping up to date on the latest early years theories and principles. We see apprenticeships as a long-term way of developing staff.
