HEATING ESTIMATOR FULL-TIME - NEWRY
At our Newry branch we are currently recruiting for a Heating Estimator. In this position you will play an instrumental role in the growth and development of the company, we are therefore looking for a talented, experienced and dedicated candidate to help drive the business forward. Responsibilities & Duties: Working as part of a team you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers. Ensuring they continue to receive great customer service. You will also be expected to identify new business opportunities promoting AJ Plumbing Supplies as their supplier of choice and converting this into regular business.
• Price quotations, tenders and present the quotes to your customers • Provide excellent support to our current customer base • Work closely along with our internal sales team. Qualifications & Skills: • Previous experience working in a similar position within the industry will be an advantage • Excellent product knowledge of Plumbing, Heating and Bathroom products • Confident in dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone thus building good customer relationships • Able to work on own initiative
TRADE COUNTER SALES / STORE ASSISTANT FULL-TIME - NEWRY
AJ Plumbing Supplies Ltd is one of Northern Ireland’s leading independent Plumbers Merchants and Bathroom Suppliers, we are currently looking to recruit a sales assistant to work at our busy trade counter in our Newry Branch Job Specification: • Assisting and serving customers at our trade counter • Taking telephone orders and making calls to customers • Assisting with deliveries both in and out of stores
• Resolving queries efficiently and liaising with management
Ideal Candidate: • Excellent customer service skills • Good communication skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team • Able to work on own initiative • Excellent telephone manner • Previous experience in a similar industry / sector would be of an advantage
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE / DELIVERY DRIVER NEWRY We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join our team in Newry. Please note this position will require heavy lifting.
The successful candidate must have: • Full Clean UK Driving License • Counterbalance Forklift Experience (Preferred but not Essential) • Minimum 3 years Warehouse Experience (Preferred but not Essential) • Experience in bathroom Showroom/ Plumbing (Preferred but not Essential) • Forward Facing Customer Service Skills • Keen Eye for Detail • Proficient in Administration / Paperwork • Good geographical knowledge • Experience in the plumbing / bathroom industry would be an advantage • Successful applicants must be able to work Thursday Evenings until 8pm & Saturday Mornings from 9am to 1pm.
Key responsibilities include: • Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Picking customer orders • Goods in and stock control • Warehouse duties, housekeeping, loss prevention • Loading / unloading vehicles • All aspects of delivery / order paperwork • Dealing face to face with customers • Delivering products to customers, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading & unloading goods
