3:1-11; 5:16; 6:8, etc.). In subsequent centuries God has healed thousands of His people of their afflictions and in our own times God still heals. It may well be that we do not acknowledge Christ as our healer as we should. Perhaps if we would come to Him for this blessing with greater faith and expectancy we would see even more of the power of God manifested in physical healing. The Psalmist mentions the blessing of full redemption (v. 4a). When he says that God has redeemed our lives from destruction he means full deliverance. The redemption that God has provided for His people through the sacrifice of His Son gives the believer redemption from the guilt of sin (Rom. 3:21-5:21), the power of sin (Rom. 6-8), and the presence of sin when at last the believer finds him self in the presence of God in glory (Eph. 1:14). Again, how we ought to praise and thank the Lord for His Word. In Psalm 103:7, David tells us that God has made known His ways. He made them known unto Moses who in turn wrote them down for us. God has done this through all the writers of the Rible so that we have the very ways of God recorded for us in His holy Word (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21). What would we do without the inspired Word of God? How we ought to thank God for His Word. Spend some time in your meeting discussing together the benefits of the Bible and have a time of praise and prayer of thanks for God’s Word. Finally, the Psalmist teaches us to thank God for Himself (v. 8). God is merciful, He is gracious, He is slow to anger. These are all manifestations of His character. What a wonderful God is ours, and how we ought to thank Him daily for Himself. Spend some time in your meeting just worshiping and praising God for Himself. Nov. 29, 1953 What's on Television? Col. 3:1-4; Matt. 6:19-33 Television is here to stay. There can be no question about that. Television has proved itself to be one of the most effec tive means of advertising ever devised, and the business world w ill not soon give up this great boon. Christians must accept the television just as we have accepted radio and other modem inventions, and we must make television our servant rather than permitting it to master us. The Possibilities of Television As Paul said, there is nothing bad of itself (Rom. 14:14). It is the use of a thing that makes it evil. Television can be used for evil purposes, but it can also be used for good purposes. Television can be used to get the gos pel out. God has, without doubt, permitted the invention of television at this time for a great purpose, possibly a greater purpose than we now know. Who could have pre dicted when radio first came out, that un told millions of people would hear the gos pel and be saved through the medium of the air waves? In the same way, television offers tremendous possibilities for the church to present Jesus Christ in a new CONTINUED ►

prayed in our "heart of New York” location last year. But God gave us this new country campus to enlarge our stakes in offering a thorough education to young people with Christian convictions.

and YOU can share in training these young people for leadership among a Bible-believing constituency in the United States and in the Foreign mission fields. SHARE IN SHELTON'S new campus. Share by your prayers. Share by your gifts.
