&NFSHFODZ4FSWJDFT One of the emergencies happened on May 11, 2023, when Alain Bellefeuille opened fire on police in the village of Bourget in $MBSFODF3PDLMBOE SFTVMUJOHJOUIFEFBUI of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Sergeant &SJD.VFMMFS5IFGPVSQBSBNFEJDTSFTQPOEFE and arrived on scene to see an injured police officer with his service revolver in his hands and a second OPP officer inside the house unconscious. 8IJMFGBDJOHEBOHFSPVTDPOEJUJPOTUIF paramedics provided life-saving care to both injured officers, removed them from an unsafe situation and transported them to a trauma centre as soon as possible. “Congratulations to our four Paramedics. an independent, charitable, not-for-profit photographic visual arts institution and a registered private career college, in the aim to inspire applicants’ photographic passion. An independent jury will look at all the images submitted and select four winners that will be printed and displayed as outdoor public art in the municipality. This year’s theme is “Best Kept Secret.” The municipality encourages people to “show us the weird, beloved or unique TQBDFTJO3VTTFMM5PXOTIJQUIBUIJHIMJHIU the best in our region.” The jury will decide a winner for the best youth (18 and under), best portrait, best landscape, and best overall categories.
