That company sold in 1998 and again in 2003. Jackson Cross Partners was started in 2003 with 2 partners (Lou Battagliese & John Morrissey) He has worked in Delaware full time for 34 years, while living in Pennsylvania. He continues to live in PA covering the tri-state area, with the bulk of his activity still in Delaware. Favoritebook: Imainly readnewspapersandother real estate related materials. However, when my wife and I drive to and from our shore house we love to listen to audio books in the car. Our favorite fiction authors include Vince Flynn, Stuart Woods and John Sanford, but we mix in some historic novels and an occasional Bill O’Reilly book. Hobbies: My wife writes in the annual Christmas letter that my job is my Hobby, it is true. Virtually everything I do revolves around business, and my alumni affiliation with Saint Joseph’s University, where I serveon theReal EstateandConstructionAlumni Advisory Board. We take two vacations a year, usually where we attend a SIOR Global Conference in the Spring and Fall. Since they are in cities we might not otherwise visit we take some time to relax and take in the local sights. Favorite Movie: The Jason Bourne and James Bond series.

First Job in Real Estate: I worked for The Scranton Plan, the economic development marketing arm of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce. I was there for 17 years. What do you do now? I oversee the marketing division for Mericle. Wehave justdevelopedanewregionalwebsitecalled Discovernepa.com. It’s a 10-county quality of life website and spotlights Mericle’s holistic approach to development and our belief that we need to market our communities as much as we market our properties. Hobbies: I am the assistant race director for the Steamtown Marathon. It is one of the premier marathons in the country and a top qualifier for the Boston Marathon. I also love genealogy and have found more than 4000 ancestors and relatives. Favorite Book: Freakonomics. I also read online news sites at least twice a day. I am a news junkie Favorite Movie: Apollo 13, 12 Angry Men with Henry Fonda. Person you most admire outside of your family: Abraham Lincoln. Key toyour success: Believing in theproduct I sell, consistency, a good work ethic, and treating everyone with fairness and respect. If you were to choose another vocation: Writer/Humorist.
