LOCATION Biola University is located in the city o f La Mirada, a subu rban residential commu nity 22 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles and 110 miles north of San Diego. The Biola can1pus is situated near many outstanding Southern California attractions including Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. T he Los Ange les Zoo, Universal Studi os, Hollywood, Griffith Park Observatory and the Los Angeles Coun ty Art Museum are located within 60 miles of our 95-acre campus. Local beach commu nities such as Newport Beach and Laguna Beach are also nearby and the mountains are an hour 's drive from the campus. In addition to these attractions, cu ltur al and research opportunities abound in the area. Several major universities and li braries are nearby including the Univers ity of Ca li forn ia at Los Angeles, the University of Southern Cali fornia and the Univers ity of California at Irvine.
