Obtaining a degree with this concentra­ ti o n requires 42 units, 30 of whi ch must be uppe r divi sio n which include th e foll ow­ ing communi catio n courses: 202, 355, 455, 457, 458, 459, and 478 . Thi s concentrati on combines busin ess and commun icati on courses into an inter­ di sciplinary program. JOURNALISM The jo urnali sm program concentrates o n preparing stud ents fo r print media careers. O btaining a degree with thi s majo r requires 36 units, 30 o f which must be upper di visio n. T he remaining units are to be selected from 330,332,335 , 347, 384, 430 and 470. COMMUNICATION DISORDERS The concent ra ti o n in communi ca ti o n di sord ers is a pre-profess io nal degree that provides the stud ent with a fo und at ion in no rmal communi catio n and an under­ stand ing o f the complexities of communi­ ca ti o n probl ems.
