DR. NICOLETTE VAN DER LEE nhv@hawaii.edu

Nicolette van der Lee is originally from the East Coast, and has lived in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Switzerland and New York City. She is happy to call Waiehu home with her 6-year old son. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Nicolette holds a Master of Education degree from Chaminade University. She now works at UH Maui College as a program coordinator for programs in sustainability, food innovation and business, and is pursuing a doctorate in education from Johns Hopkins University. She loves to learn about the beautiful ecosystems and culture of Hawai‘i with Maui Huliau students. DR. ASHLEY VEDVIG avedvig@uwsp.edu Ashley Vedvig is a recent graduate of the Ed.D. in Educational Sustainability doctoral program at UW-Stevens Point. Her research has centered around the intersection of instructors’ climate change risk perceptions and inclusion of climate change education in higher education. Ashley works for the UW-Stevens Point as an academic program specialist and as a lecturer at the UW-Whitewater teaching Global Climate Systems.
