Spring, senior year. 480 Torrey Honors Thesis (4) The last term of the senior year will be devoted to writing a tutor-supervised thesis of not less than 12,000 words. These required units are counted toward the total number needed for graduation from Torrey and Biola University. A student may substitute an internship in their major field. This internship would replace the final paper and must be approved by the Torrey Director and student's major advi sor. All theses and internships should make a significant contribution to the student's major field of study. 490 Selected Readings and Topics (4) Designed for upper division students in Torrey who want to study specialized topics not covered in catalog course offer ings. May be taken up to three times with different readings. Admission by approval of the Director. 491 Independent Study (4) Independent readings on a topic chosen by the student. Offered both semesters. Prerequisite: Director approval. May not be repeated.

Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and Flannery O'Connor. Credit given for BBST 254. Spring.junior year. 410 American Evangelical Writings (4) Readings will place a special emphasis on the tradition that fonned Biola University. Writings will include the formative and best contemporary works in dispensational theology. Credit given for upper division Bible electives. Fall, senior year. 465 Eschatologlcal Writings (4) Includes: Old Testament prophets, Daniel, &velation, non Pauline epistles and historical selections on Biblical prophecy.
