PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Master of Am degree in Orga ni za tion a l Leadership is designed for individuals who wish to shape and develop their lead­ ership capabilities. Principles and practices emphasized in this pro­ gram enhance personal knowl­ edge and skills for business, non­ profit, and ministry leade rship. Swdents prepare to deal with the growi ng complexity and chal­ lenges that leaders face daily as they guide people coward shared goals. The program is designed for professional men and women with undergraduate degrees and super­ visory experience who are search­ ing for a professional degree pro­ gram with strong biblical integra­ tion and solid marketplace value. l'he degree is interdiscipli­ nary in narnre and e mphasizes research and practice derived from the fields of management, psychology, sociology. and educa­ tion. Students are encouraged to grow in three fundamental areas: ■ Conceprnal understanding of leadership. ■ Awareness of personal charac­ ter and leadership potential. ■ G rowth in effective leadership skills. Courses may he transferred or wai ved on th e basis of equiva lent study or work experience.

These courses from the Institute of The­ o logical Studies may he taken for graduate level credit. Master of Arts in Christian Apologetics stu­ dents are limited to three units in their degree program. Students who desire grad uate credit for ITS courses must meet the normal requirement s for admission to the universit y and registe r for the co urses through the Office of the Registrar.
