Upon w mpletion of any of the programs offered in the Depart­ ment of Visual and T heatric-a l Art, the student will have an adeq uate foundational understanding of vari­ m1s areas of expression. T h rough development of skills, philosophic-al and historical perspectives of visual and theatre art, the Biola graduate should he prepared for postgraduate srndy or a career in visual or theatri­ cal art in eithe r secular or Christian related enterprises. T he visual arts portion of the department is accred­ ited through the National Associa­ tion of Schools of An and Des ign (NASAD).
