The Robert N. Oliver Award in Systematic Theology - To the student with the bes t work fo r the year in Sys- tematic Theology. The Award in Homiletics - An annual award to three students in the seminary who distinguish themselves in preaching. The Kenneth D. Archinal Award in Cluistian Education - An annual award to the outstanding second year in the Department ofChristian Education. The Award in New Testament - To tJ1e student who has done outstanding work in New Testament studies through- out the seminary program. The Rev. & Mrs. David Doerksen Awmrl in Missicms - To the student in tJ1e seminary who does tl1e best work for tl1e year in tJ1e Department of Missions. The Marge Niquette Award in Bible Exposition - An annual award to the studem in the seminary who has done outstanding work in the Depart- ment of Bible Exposition in the final year of trai ning. The Alumni Award - To a con tin- ui ng stude nt in the seminary by the Alumni Association.

The Baker Book Award in Christian Education - To the graduate who has distinguished himself or herself in the studyof Christian Education. The North American Professors of Chris tian Education Award - To a graduate student in Christian educa- tion fo r outstanding academi c and scholarship achi evement. The A1ne1ican Bible Society Award - To the student who has distinguished himself in meaningful and interpre- tive publi c reading of the Scriptures. The Louis T. Talbot Memorial Scholanhip Award - To a continuing student preparing for the ministrywho has demonstrated academic exce l- lence , exceptional Christian commit- ment and zeal for practical minisu-y. The Rotary Club Scholarship Award - To a continuing student who is out- standi ng in Christian characte r and spiritual leadership . The Baka Boo/i Award - To the graduate who has distinguished work in the studyof theology. T/ie Robin Finley Me1,w1ial Award in Missions - to a conti nu ing stude nt preparing to serve on the mission field.

The Charles Lee Feinberg Award - To th e se ni or who best exemplifi es th e image of a stu de nt at Talbot School ofTheology. The William W. Bass Memorial Scholarshif1 Award - To a second or third yea r student who has demon- strated a keen interest in Phil osophy of Religion and/ or Theology. The Inez Gooden Memorial Scholar- ship Award - To a seminary student with financial need. The Gordon Johnson Scholarship Award - To a seminary student per- forming we ll academically in one of the Bible related fie lds. The Walker Scholarship Award - To a semin ary student with spec ial interest and abil ity in the area of out- reach, established by the International Fisherman's club. The Bill Bynum Memorial Scholar- ship Award - To the studem who does exemplarywork in the study and prac- tice of Christian Education.

The awards that foll ow are pre- sented annually to qualified students on the bas is of criteria indicated: The Louis T. Talbot Award - To a student in the seminary whose con- cern and zeal, in theory and practice, are outstanding in th e area of the evangelization of theJews. The Audrey Talbot Award in Bible Exposition - To the student in the semi- nary who does the bestwork for tl1e year in theDepartment ofBible Exposition. The William W Bass Award-To a student in the seminary whose con- cern and zeal, theoretically and practi- cally, are exemplary in the interest of the evangelization of theJews. Tlie j ohn and Jennie Solomon Award in Ola Testament - To the student in the seminary who does the best work fo r th e yea r in th e Department of Semitics and Old Testament. The Librmy Award - To the stu- den t completing a thesis or thesis pro- ject who, in the opinion of the Librar- ian, has made the most intelligent and effective use of the Library during the year of his or her graduation.
