371 Evangelism and Discipleship (3) An overview of the biblical p1i nciples of evangelism and discipleship. The class will seek to develop the skills of personal evangelism and explore biblical teach- ing regarding di scipleship; including personal req uirements, obj ec tives, essential components and applications to the local church and parachurch agencies. Prerequisite: 25 1. 372 Christian Education of Children (3) Discovery and evaluation of methods and mate1ials appropriate for achieving learning objectives which meet the phys- ical, mental, social, emotional and spi ri- tual needs of children (birth through grade six.) Students may choose 373 or 374. Prerequisites: 150, 261. 373 Christian Education of Youth (3) Examination of the adolescent in our culture with emphasis upon designing a mini stry to this age level within the context of the local church and para- church agenc ies . Prerequisites: 150, 261. 374 Christian Education of Adults (3) Focus on understanding the needs and development of contemporary adul ts. Discovery of the un iqueness of adult learning and investigation of design, cur- 1icula, me thods, and implementation of educational programs for the church and other agencies. Students may choose 372 or 373. Prerequisites: 150, 261. 380 Ministry Planning and Development (3) Personal and interactive evaluation of the student's calli ng to Christian min- istry, including characte r, gifts, inter- ests, and abil ities. Fie ld obse rvations and other exper iences designed to give perspective and aid in subsequent placement in vocational praCLicum and future employment in Christian educatio n agencies.
