We dedicate this catalog to Marilyn'Heiman inpemory of her more than thirty years of service to Biola University. Marilyn served diligently as Manager of Catalog and Curriculum Services, and was responsible for manag'ng the content of the university catalog and all degree programs. Even though she was in much parnyshe contin­ ued to be at her desk day after day until the very end. Marilyn went to be with her Lord on February 13/2Q05, with much peace and dignity, after struggling with an auto immune disease and marij/ other medical problems for more than eight years. She will be remembered farther unwavering love for her Lord and for others, her commitment to Biola University, especially to the students, and also for-her wonderful sense of humor. Her quick wit and humor were her constant companions through life ah ! were a particular help as she encountered serious health issues.
