Objectives The Master of Arts degree, with emphases 1n Bible Exposition, Old Testament, New Testament, Theo logy, Philosophy of Religion & Ethics, Spiritual Forma t ion and Bibl ical /Theological Studies-Diversi­ fi ed (non-language), has been developed for those whose ca lling to Ch ri st ian se rvice is to positions of leadership for which the Master of Div inity or other professional degrees are not normally required . It is structured to provide: ,. An understanding of Scriptures for students anticipating Christian ministries that would include church administrators, pa rachurch organization leadership, counselors, "tent-making" occupations in other cultures, lay leaders in the local church and others.

2 . A biblical background for those who are preparing for teach­ ing in non-theological fields .

3. An academic background for those who find the Master of Arts degree ample for a teaching position either at home or in a fo reign country.

4. A program of study for missionaries who have only a brief fur­ lough time in wh ich to pursue formal study of the Scriptures.

s. Sustainable skills in specific ministries further developi ng your abilities and spiritual gifts and strengthening your areas of weakness. Admission Requirement s Applicant s must possess a Bachelor of Arts degree or its academic eq ui va lent. From an accredited college with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).

Al l applicants must submit a written statement outlining their vocat ional objectives and how the degree might relate to those obj ectives.

Due to the limited enrollment in this emphasis, all applicants will be person­ ally interviewed . Graduation Requirements A. Satisfactorily complete 64-66 semester units as outlined in the curriculum charts below.
