psycho logist. Since this test material is confidential, Rosemead will not make copies of tests sent for admission purposes at any time. Applicants are referred to the agency from which the testing was administered if they desire a clinical interpre tation. 5 . Submit five letters of recommendation on forms supplied by the school. Three of these are academic references and two are character references (pastor and personal friend). 6. Appear for a personal interview with the Admissions Com mittee or its representative. Arrangements are made by the committee following a preliminary screen ing of applica tions. Only those who are finalists in Rosemead's admissions procedure, determined by the preliminary screening, will be scheduled for a personal interview. For finalists from the gen eral Southern Cal ifornia area, interviews are held on campus at La Mirada. Ar rangements will be made by the chairperson of the Rosemead Admission Committee for those outside the Southern California area. Interviews are conducted in a number of cities throughout the country, generally between January 15 and February 28. A non-refundable fee of$75 is due and payable following arrangements for the interview. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure that all ap plication materials have been received. If there is any doubt, the applicants should write to the University Admissions Office for verification.
General Academic Information CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS
Graduate psychology students meeting all entrance requirements will be classified as regular graduate students. Students who do not fulfill all entrance requirements may be admitted on a provisional status unti l they correct the deficiency. Any such deficiencies must be removed within one calendar year of a student's admission as a provisional student. It is only in rare instances that a student will be accepted on provisional status. GRADING SYSTEM Students wishing to obtain a graduate degree must maintain a consistently high academic performance throughout their program. An overall Baverage, i.e., 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, is required for all degrees. Only grades of"A;'"B,""C" earn graduate credit.
Grades of all students are recorded in the registrar's office. Grading is on the following basis:
Official documents presented for admission or evaluation become part of the student's academic file and normally cannot be returned or copied for distribution.

APPLICATION DEADLINE Since enrollment is limited and admission is on a selective basis, applications should be made as early as possible. Applications must be received in the Office of Graduate Admission by January 15. Deci sions are made only on completed applications. Rosemead currently admits new students fo r the degree programs only in the fall semes ter each yea r. Applications received after the January 15 deadline will rarely be considered for the following fall semester. NOTICE OF DECISIONS The Admissions Commit tee will process applications as quickly as possible following the January 15 deadline, though time must be allowed for completion of personal interviews. Certificates of Ac ceptance will be mailed on or before April 1. Information concerning the status of an application will not be given except by letter from the dean following action by the Admissions Committee. Because of the large number of applicants, information cannot be given by telephone. In the event that an applicant has not heard from the committee by May 1, written inquiry may be made.
