Promotes the development of parks within the City; Oversees funds earmarked for the use of improving and developing DeSoto parks through the 4-B sales tax proceeds; Oversees Parks and Recreation master planning; and Issues bonds for public parks and park facility projects with the approval of City Council. DEBT SERVICE PARKS DEVELOPMENT Fund 347 Serves as a fund for payment of debt service for bonds issued for public parks and park facility projects.
