The truth is that even the smallest physical activities such as a stroll in the park can benefit our mental and physical health. Generally the research tells us that when people are exposed to the natural environment and natural features, they tend to have a reduced stress response. When you are out in nature you have lower blood pressure, better heart rate variability and better mood. Any amount of physical activity can help us lead a healthier and happier life.
