Carbon monoxide may result causing health risks, including death. • Operate on a combustible surface such as a wood/composite deck, grass, or mulched area. • Operate in windy conditions.
DO NOT ... • Operate unless you use the same precautions you would use with any open fire. • Allow children to operate the fire pit or leave the fire pit unattended. • Wear loose clothing while operating this fire pit.
• Use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, alcohol, or any other volatile substance to light this fire pit. • Operate in a boat or other recreational vehicle, or within the vicinity of combustible materials or fumes. • Operate while under the influence of, or while consuming, alcohol and/or prescription/non-prescription drugs. • Burn charcoal, manufactured logs, driftwood, trash, leaves, paper, cardboard, plywood or any other materials other than wood pellets. • Modify or alter this product in any manner. • Operate unless you adhere to state and local codes and restrictions. • Leave units with a painted finish outside or the unit will rust. (FG-16/FG-19) • Attempt to move or store this fire pit until the fire is completely extinguished and the unit reaches ambient temperature. STORAGE: 1. Make sure the fire is fully extinguished and cold before leaving the Flame Genie unattended. Be cautious of live coals that may look like ash, they may still be an ignition risk or burn hazard. 2. After all fuel is consumed, there will be a limited amount of ash in the bottom of the unit. To remove the ash, dump the ash into a non-combustible container with a lid to eliminate the risk of fire. Do not store the container with ashes on a combustible surface. 3. Place the Flame Genie base into the top section and store your product in a DRY environment. Painted finishes may become distressed after use and require maintenance including lightly sanding and painting with a high-temperature spray paint. All Stainless Steel units may remain outdoors and can be cleaned by following the instructions on any high-quality stainless steel cleaner. WARRANTY: Congratulations on your purchase of a Flame Genie pellet fire pit. Proper use and storage of your fire pit will ensure continued enjoyment of your purchase. The Flame Genie is designed and engineered to burn wood pellets. The burning of other materials or additives may result in the preliminary failure of the product. The Flame Genie is warrantied to the Original Purchaser of the product for a period of one (1) year from the date of receipt. This warranty applies to the failure of the product to operate as designed and excludes all painted finishes. All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase. HY-C Company, LLC reserves the right to replace the product or reimburse the original purchase price of the product, excluding taxes, shipping, or other costs related to the purchase.
