The competition aims to support producers, factory owners, and beekeepers to encourage local honey production. It also provides festival visitors with the opportunity to learn about different varieties of Emirati honey and the nutritional and therapeutic properties of each type. Honey Competition • Participants must submit 2 kg of honey, divided into two samples of identical specifications and quality (one for display and one for chemical analysis). • The containers must be transparent, smooth glass jars with metal lids. • The jars must be cylindrical in shape. • No labels or distinctive marks should be placed on the jars. • The liquid honey jars and their lids must be clean. • Jars must be filled with a slight headspace to ensure honey does not reach the lid.. • The honey must be free of defects, impurities, and crystallization, and should be uniform with a natural color. Conditions for Participation in the Liquid Honey Competition Submission of Honey Competition Samples • Participants from within the UAE: Honey samples should be submitted the same day of the competition from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

مسابقة العسل تهــدف إلى دعــم المنتــجين وأصحــاب المصانــع والمناحــل مــن أجــل تحفيــز الإنتـاج المـحلي مـن العسـل، بالإضافـة إلى إتاحـة الفرصـة لـزوار المهرجـان للتعـرف إلى أصنـاف العسـل الإمـاراتي والخصائـص الغذائيـة والعلاجيـة لـكل صنـف. شروط المشاركة في مسابقة العسل السائل • كجــم مــن العســل مقســمة إلى عينتــن بنفــس المواصفــات 2 تســليم والجــودة (عينــة للعــرض، وعينــة للتحليــل الكيميــائي). • يجب أن تكون العبوات زجاجية شفافة ملساء ذات غطاء معدني. • يجب أن تكون العبوات أسطوانية الشكل. • عدم لصق أي بطاقة أو علامة مميزة على العبوات. • التأكد من نظافة عبوات العسل السائل وأغطيتها. • يشـرط مـلء العبـوات مـع تـرك فـراغ بسـيط في أعـى العبـوة حتـى لا يصـل العسـل إلى الغطـاء. • خلــو العســل مــن العيــوب والشــوائب ومــن التبلــور وأن يكــون متجانســا وذا لــون طبيعــي. تسليم عينات مسابقة العسل • المشـاركون مـن داخـل الدولة: تسـلم العينـات في نفس تاريخ المسـابقة ظهراً. 12 صباحا ولغايـة 8 مـن السـاعة
