EN24 module, sexual and vaginal data were largely missing, while remaining symptom scales were below 35%. QoL results are illustrated in Figure 2.
The impact of clinical factors on loco-regional relapse, distant metastases, and tumor-related death was evaluated. Adverse events (n=39) and QoL (n=20) were assessed during follow-up using CTCAE v5.0 and the EORTC QLQ-C30 and EN24 questionnaires.Statistics: Kaplan–Meier method, log- rank test. Results: After a median follow-up of 24 months (range, 6–57), 2-year overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), local relapse-free survival (LRFS), pelvic relapse-free survival (PRFS), and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS) rates were 97.2%, 75.4%, 100%, 97.1%, and 76.4%, respectively.Two-year DFS and DMFS were significantly worse in p53-mutated tumors (39% vs. 91%, p=0.024; and 41.4% vs. 89.3%, p=0.16, respectively). A trend toward reduced PRFS was observed in patients with substantial lymphovascular space invasion (LVSI) (90% vs. 100%, p=0.06). No associations were found between BMI or SMI and survival outcomes. No grade 3–4 adverse events were recorded. Grade 1–2 chronic vaginal morbidity occurred in 20% of patients. Other grade 1–2 events included diarrhoea (13%), proctitis/rectal bleeding (5%), haematuria (2.5%), pollakiuria (7%), and urinary urgency/incontinence (25%).Among 20 respondents (51%), QoL scores were favourable: functional scores >75% and symptom scores <35% in QLQ-C30 (fatigue being the most affected domain). Global health status exceeded 70%, indicating overall good QoL. In the
Conclusion: In this series, adjuvant radiotherapy in elderly endometrial cancer patients achieved high local control rates, low adverse events rates, and good quality of life outcomes. References: 1.
