In radiation oncology, Advanced Practice Radiation Therapist (APRT) represents an evolving professional role that redefines traditional boundaries in oncological care delivery. Head and neck (HN) radiotherapy is challenging due to complex anatomy, critical structures and frequent anatomical changes. Deploying APRT for image review marks a paradigm shift in RTT profession, enhancing decision-making and treatment accuracy. This study evaluates cost- effectiveness improvements over a decade since HN APRT is entrusted with image review. Material/Methods:
Conclusion: This is the first multi-centre study quantifying PCC within the RTT scope of practice. RTTs practice moderate levels of PCC, with higher levels being associated with prior PCC education and academic background. These findings highlight the need to develop targeted PCC education to improve PCC practice among RTTs. Keywords: Person-Centred Care, Implementation Science References: 1. Wolfe A.
