Material/Methods: A previously trained and validated MBM was shared with 6 institutions within the MIKAPOCo multi-centric consortium (internal to MBM: INST3, INST5, INST9; external to MBM: INST1, INST6, INST11). Fully
Furthermore, the relative dose average difference between the original configuration and the MLC shifted, compared with measured profiles, was -2.24% for AAA, while AXB presented a 0.09% deviation. Graph 2 shows the original configuration and the MLC shifted profiles, along with their corresponding dose profile difference.
Conclusion: Overall, AXB demonstrates superior agreement with the measured data. However, AAA tends to overestimate the interleaf and inter-bank leakage, while AXB slightly underestimates it. Future work should investigate the influence of the Effective Target Spot Size parameter on the algorithm's ability to estimate this effect.
