PAKK TAII DESIGN WEEK 2024 The Annual Creative Festival of the South showcases the potential of the southern people by using creativity to develop local cultural assets in a balanced way. This aims to enhance economic capabilities and improve the quality of life for people in the region.

T HE Southern Design Festival, or Pakk Taii Design Week, is a platform to promote creativity, support local potential, and connect people from various industries in the region. The festival focuses on highlighting and building on the cultural assets of the southern region through creativity to enhance quality of life, create job opportunities, generate business income, and increase competitive capacity. The 2024 Southern Design Festival (Pakk Taii Design Week 2024) is being held for the first time from August 12 to 20, 2024, in Songkhla province. Under the theme ‘The Next Spring: Returning Home and Blooming,’ it opens a space for southern designers and creatives from all 14 provinces, across various industries, to showcase their potential. It also
brings together urban drivers, the manufacturing sector, entrepreneurs, students, and local residents to collaborate. They are invited to return home to explore, analyze, and add value to the diverse and local cultural assets of the South in a modern context through food, wisdom, architecture, and entertainment, which will be enhanced by creativity without freezing or losing their original identity. The festival seeks to balance conservation and development while conveying tangible creative economic concepts, promoting quality of life, creating new job opportunities, and pushing for the development of a 'creative economy district' to promote 'livable, investable, and touristic cities. —
