Conclusion: For most LACC patients, emotional and social functioning are impaired at baseline and during treatment but improve in follow-up. A subgroup experiences deterioration and may benefit from targeted care. Psychiatric history assessments and psychological support contribute to tailored interventions. Three- fraction brachytherapy schedules may further reduce psycho-social distress. References: 1de Ligt et al.
