Days 1-3: UK - Cape Town On arrival in Cape Town, collect your hire car and make the 30-minute journey to your hotel - Pepperclub Hotel & Spa. This will be your base for the next 3 nights. Relax on the pool deck and get to know your surroundings. Day 4: Cape Town - Hermanus Leave Cape Town. Drive for around 2 hours along the Garden Route to Hermanus, a haven for marine life and wildlife experiences including spotting the Marine Big Five - sharks, whales, dolphins, penguins and seals. Overnight at Abalone Guest Lodge. Day 5: Hermanus After breakfast, explore the town on foot, while keeping an eye out for passing whales in the bay. You’ll head into the 11,500-hectare private reserve accompanied by skilled local rangers on an afternoon game drive.
