V.Group ESG 2021 Spreads

V.Group places great importance on our approach to the pursuit of excellence in all our operations around the world. Our ongoing ambition is to focus on delivering flawless ship management services, whilst strengthening our position as a leading provider of marine support services and committing ourselves to continuous improvement in every area. By disclosing our ESG metrics we want our business partners and colleagues to have transparency about our operations, to clearly articulate our targets, and progress toward more sustainable operations. We know we are on a journey of continuous improvement, but we are ambitious, and committed to progress. Our Group’s Future

V.Group is one of the largest marine services providers in the world, leading the way in technical maintenance and support for the commercial shipping, offshore, leisure and defence sectors. Group Marine Services

SeaMed24 The health and wellbeing of our seafarers is always primary. To this end, we have introduced access to medical care and support though SeaMed24. On-Board Drinking Water Solutions As part of our commitment to reducing our plastic use, V.Group has been introducing safe potable water through our On-Board Drinking Water Solutions, furthering the goal of zero pollution from plastic waste to sea and environment, and minimising the generation of shipboard waste. Supply Chain Due Diligence In line with our own values and Supplier Code of Conduct, at V.Group Marine Services we endeavour to improve our procurement processes to better manage adverse ESG impacts associated with the activities in our upstream supply chain. We seek to buy from those suppliers that are committed to continuous improvement in the sphere of corporate responsibility. The maritime transportation industry is subject to rapidly evolving legal and soft law frameworks. These frameworks have both a direct and indirect bearing on how V.Group – and its customers – do business. Laws and frameworks include the upcoming European Union Corporate Sustainability Due

Diligence and amending Directive (EU CSDDD), the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, and the various responsible sourcing standards, guidelines and requirements issued by relevant industry associations. V.Group Marine Services recognises that, through the way we operate and our purchasing decisions, we have a tangible impact on environmental, social and economic conditions globally. It is important to us that the standards and values we uphold in our direct operations are reflected in our supply chain. In the future development of our supply chain due diligence processes, we aim to: • To systematically identify, manage and mitigate ESG risks in the upstream supply chain; • To engage suppliers, receivers, financiers and stakeholders more widely on risk mitigation efforts; and • To report and provide assurance to key stakeholders. Achieving these aims is core to our ambition to act as a sustainable organisation and help shape our industry for the better.
