7.4.1.1 The five (5) day notice may be waived or extended with mutual

agreement of the employee and the District.

7.4.1.2 A member of the bargaining unit not in their contractual work year who is to be involuntarily transferred shall be given the reasons for the impending transfer in writing five (5) days before the new assignment becomes effective or as soon as the District becomes aware of the need for

a transfer.

7.4.1.3 Should the District determine an immediate transfer is necessary,

the transfer shall occur upon agreement with the Association.

7.4.2 An Involuntary transfer shall not result in the loss of compensation or any fringe benefits to the member, except in cases resulting from reduction of force. 7.4.3 A member of the bargaining unit who has been adversely affected by an involuntary transfer may appeal the transfer through the procedures set forth in the policies of the District entitled "Rules for Adjusting Employee Grievances". 7.4.4 An involuntary transfer shall not take place for either punitive or
