Senior Scholarship Application Opens on Friday, January 16! Attention Seniors! In June, JPS will host its annual Senior Scholarship Night.

Deserving seniors are recognized for their contributions to our school & the community. Scholarships are awarded to those attending college, pursuing a trade or a career in the military.

SPRING 2025-26 MIDDLESEX COLLEGE DUAL ENROLLMENT (Only for select courses, so please read the class list carefully.) ** Please disregard this email if your child is not applying for Middlesex College Credits. Dear Parents/Guardians/Students: Middlesex College may offer you the opportunity to earn college credit for your course(s). You will be able to tell if your child is enrolled in an MC class by looking at your transcript for this year. It would show (DCC) next to the course [Dual Credit Course]. To find your transcript, you can log in to your portal and look under the Grading tab for the transcript. You can also match the class and the teacher with the class list, linked below.

You are NOT enrolled in the MC Early College Program just because your course code ends with an “MC.” You must follow all steps carefully S tudents that registered for previous courses and did not submit payment will not be registered for Spring until previous balances are cleared.

Complete the application and registration form HERE , and submit by midnight on January 29. Step 1: Click thelink above and select‘Create Account’fromthe top menubar to createyour account. This account is only for the application site. Write down your username and password in the event you have to log back in for corrections. Step 2: Once your account is created, click ‘Create a New Application’ and be sure to select ‘Dual Enrollment Application.’ Proceed with entering your contact information. Be sure to always select ‘dual enrollment’ as your program of interest. Step 3: Enter your relevant course information from the list below and submit your application.

Returning dual enrollment students:

● Complete the Jotform HERE by midnight on January 29. Make sure you have your Middlesex College student ID number as it is a required field.

incorrect course codes will delay processing. 2. Be sure to enter your correct high school email address where requested. Applications submitted without a high school email address will not be processed. 3. Please check your high school email regularly for updates and requests for information. Once registration is confirmed by your school, confirmation statements and instructions to login and submit payment will be mailed to your home address. 4. MC will only be communicating with the student, so check your email and spam regularly. 5. 6. The dual enrollment fee is non-refundable. If you switch high school courses and are no longer enrolled in a MC DE course, please submit a DROP form. Depending on the time of year, an appeal may be required. 7. DUE DATE is January 29th. Student can be dropped for non-payment. Students need to do the application form before the due date since MC will not be accepting late applications. 8. Submitting an application is a commitment to paying for your courses. Applications cannot be withdrawn, and drops will not be processed after registration is complete. Tuition is non-refundable. 9. Students that registered for a previous course and did not submit payment will not be registered until previous balances are cleared. Please check self-service and submit payment for previous courses prior to submitting your registration request.

Grading:

● Only grades of “C” or better are considered transferable ● Once a grade is recorded it remains on the student’s permanent record at Middlesex County College. ● Students must sit for the entire course to receive credit. Students who go on home instruction or switch courses mid-year must drop or withdraw from the credit option by the appropriate MCC deadline.

My course/teacher is not on the list; how can I find out if it is eligible for MC dual enrollment credits?

Before applying,please confirm course eligibility with your teacher or school counselor. You may only register for eligible courses you are currently taking.

I can’t log intomy MC self-service account; how can I get my account reset?

Email MCCDE@middlesexcc.edu from your high school email account with your full name, address, and birthdate to request an account reset.

How can I find out if my course(s) will transfer?

Check www.njtransfer.org for in-state public school transfers or reach out to college registrars at private and out-of-state schools to inquire. Transfer of MC DE courses is not guaranteed.
