One of the longest-tenured employees at Pain Management and Treatment Center is LaTaurus Washington, who has been a medical assistant at the clinic since 2008. With a longstanding ambition to work in the health care eld, Washington earned a medical assistant degree at Sanford-Brown College. Washington divides her time between the front oce and the surgery department. Her duties include assisting the sta physicians with treatment orders, taking medical histories from new patients, handling insurance paperwork, and help- ing to get patients prepped for surgery.
