The hotel

Windermere Manor is a welcoming, 3-star country house hotel set in peaceful gardens just a short stroll from Lake Windermere, in the heart of the English Lake District; a charming retreat that blends traditional character with modern comfort. The wood-beamed restaurant & glass-roofed conservatory offer classic British dishes made with locally sourced ingredients,

scenic views of Lake Windermere can be enjoyed from the terrace, a small, heated pool is ideal for a quick dip & the cosy lounge and bar provide the perfect setting for relaxed evenings after our days exploring lakes, fells & daffodil-lined shores. Daily excursions & lunches • A visit to Dove Cottage, beloved home of William Wordsworth – including the inspiring Wordsworth Museum & time to explore charming Grasmere village. • A morning at the fascinating Lakeland Motor Museum, home to the Donald Sutherland Collection, with a relaxing afternoon cruise on Lake Windermere. • A visit to Brockhole Visitor Centre, with a guided Heritage Garden Tour, lunch overlooking the spring blooms, and a gentle afternoon in nearby Ambleside. (Daily lunches and all entrance charges are included in holiday)

Accessibility The hotel has ground floor bedrooms and lift access to first floor rooms (but second floor rooms are accessed by stairs) so we will discuss this when you book to allocate you a suitable room.

£845 per person sharing a twin or double room. Sole occupancy of a twin or double room at a £30 per night supplement
