The Space Planning and Projects Coordinator is responsible for supporting a broad range of development and space management projects and initiatives across the London Metropolitan University estates portfolio. The postholder will support on the effective space management of the portfolio, including the collation, management and reporting of space data as well as undertaking operational and strategic space planning activities. You will also get the chance to support and lead on project delivery, including taking lead responsibility for the delivery of minor works projects such as moves, refurbishments and fit-outs typically up to £75k in value. The successful candidate will have experience in a design, space planning or minor works project management role in an estates or FM environment. Experience of delivery projects in a live, high-footfall and dynamic environment would be advantageous, as is a high degree of capability in the use of IT systems including AutoCAD software. We are seeking an individual with a highly motivated and proactive disposition and the interpersonal and communication skills to operate successfully with a diverse range of stakeholder groups. The role would suit an individual from a design or space planning background that is seeking to develop their project delivery skills across a broad portfolio of projects, with a view to moving into a more senior space management or project management role.
