CHELTENHAM IS, WITHOUT doubt, the beating heart of Jump racing and the ultimate measure of our sport’s success. While March’s The Festival™ presented by Magners is the jewel in Prestbury Park’s glittering crown, The November Meeting holds a special place in the souls of racing fans everywhere. It’s the first major meeting of the season and one that never fails to produce glimpses of future stars. Champions come out to defend their status while challengers jostle to topple those with fragile crowns. It’s true that all roads lead to The Festival, but The November Meeting is where the journey begins in earnest. 2018 saw record attendances at The November Meeting with more than 72,000 people flocking to Prestbury Park
over the three days. Spectacular sunshine and racing of the highest level drew in the crowds, and the on course action didn’t disappoint. COUNTRYSIDE DAY, FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER Over three days, Cheltenham showcases exactly why racing is the second largest spectator sport, only behind football.
