Some people enjoy being trusted, but hate to trust others. God cannot open the windows of heaven very wide if we keep our pocket- books tightened up. To have the humility of Jesus Christ we must live in communion with Him. — o — It was the humility of Jesus Christ that made the impassable gulf between heaven and hell. Pride is of the flesh and humility is of the Spirit. These two wage a continual warfare within us. — o — All the evils of fallen angels and men have their birth in the pride of self.
