The Violet Connection 20

The seasons are changing and I’m loving it. If you’re a little old-school like me, you’re from the generation of freshly sharpened pencils and new Trapper Keepers! Back-to-school time was always so exciting, finally getting to wear my new school shoes and school clothes! Whether you’re headed back to school, have kiddos or grandkids headed back, or you’re starting your first year of retirement, the transition to a new season is here. Life is full of transitions. Some are major and significant, and some pass without us even noticing. In recent years, I’ve been praying that God would help me embrace every season, every transition, and squeeze out every bit He has for me in that season, even the hard parts. I’m really looking forward to the opportunities we have at Violet to walk through this new season together! We have several wonderful events coming up this fall and winter, and I’m praying this is the season you decide to jump in and join us. September 27th, 9 am-4:30 pm: Beth Moore (simulcast). This all-day event will be full of praise & worship, laughter, and powerful teaching with the sole purpose of seeking after Jesus! The cost to attend is only $10 and will include a continental-style breakfast, coffee, tea, and ice water throughout the day, and light snacks. We’ll be on our own for lunch.

October 5th, 5:30 pm: Fall Women’s Ministry Dinner. Great food, laughter, fun fall craft, and a surprise or two.

November 9th: Operation Christmas Child - Shoebox folding and luncheon (right after 2nd service)

December 14th: Women’s Christmas Celebration and Luncheon (right after 2nd service)

Please reach out anytime if you’d like to talk, assist with any events, have a great idea for a fellowship opportunity, or just pray together!

Be Blessed!

Love, Karen Bramlish
