It will be a tim e when the world is absorbed in its usual occupa­ tions. M att, 24:37-42; Luke 17:26-30. ( 4 ) . Immediately afte r th e trib u la­ tion m atters will develop so rapidly th a t th e generation then living shall not pass away un til “ all these things be ac­ complished.” Matt. 24:29-35. ( 5 ) . The Lord Jesus will not come to th e ea rth w ith H is saints un til after the revelation of th e man of sin. II Thess. 2:2-4. ( 6 ) . The T ru e A ttitude Toward Christ’s Coming Again. - (1 ). We should be ready for His coming. Matt. 24:44; Luke 21:34-36; Matt. 25:1-30; 1 John 2:28. ( 2 ) . We should be looking and watching for the coming of oiir Lord. Luke 12:36, 37; Heb. 9:28. ( 3 ) . We should earnestly desire th e coming of our Lord. 11 Pet. 3:12, 13; 11 Tim. 4:8. ( 4 ) . We should pray for our Lord’s coming. Rev. 22:20. ( 5 ) . We should preach th e Second Coming of Christ. 1 Thess. 4:18. Ministers and others who scoff at the teachings of the Bible are themselves ful­ filling the Scripture. A little child can see that. We heard recently of a little girl who was in ten tly reading her Bible when accosted by a skeptic w ith, “Child, you cannot understand th a t book, and it is not tru e !” Looking up into his face, she said, “There is one thing in the Bible I know is tru e .” “P ray, what is th a t? ” “The Bible says, ‘in the last days shall come scoffers,’ and you are one of them.” It is needless to add th a t the infidel was silenced, and soon left the child to poruse her precious book. .
