after all these days and nights of fight ing against God, he gave his h ea rt to th e Lord Jesus Christ and left us to go back to work w ith a ligh t h eart, for all his sins were washed away in Jesu s’ blood. Thank God th a t we who are saved have the opportunity of carrying the message of salvation to ju st tnis kind of men. In teresting experiences w ith men drifting into Biola Hall are daily and nightly occurrences. We ran across w hat they call a “rem ittance man” the other night. He said th a t in the many years he had been coming to Los Ange les th a t was th e very first tim e any one had ever spoken to him of his need of a personal Savior. Possessing a very beautiful sixty thousand dollar home in th e E ast w .th several high priced cars a t th e disposal of himself and fam ily and surrounded
th e Gospel of Christ. Especially is th is tru e of those who from day to day look into the faces of these men and bring the message to them, yes, u o d Answers P ray er. Fo r over two years and a half we nave gone into one of these shops every week w ith the message o f . life. T im e. and again have we noticed in this shoo a certain man who seemed to be deeoly interested in w hat was being said. Dif feren t w orkers have gone to him and urged* upon him the need of ac ceptance of th e Lord Jesus as a persan- al Savior, and always as we have neard th e old answer, “No, no t to-day,” th ere has come th a t burden of prayer upon us th a t God m ight save th a t man. Time has gone on, and a t tim es the burden has seemed almost unbearable. Com ing to the office one morning, this m an’s name kep t running throujffi our mind. So quietly we asked thalrWod’s power m ight be shown. L ater in the morning th e re came a rap a t the door and who should step into the office b u t th is very man, I t wasn’t long before we found th a t through trouble, trial' and sorrow he had been led to seek our advice and comfort. As we talked to him, th e Holy Spirit took th e Word home to his h eart, and th ere beside us in th e office,
