Why do you like planes?
Jer iznad oblaka uvek sija sunce Above the clouds, the sun always shines
Avioni su moja životna neminovnost, tako da se i ne pitam previše da li ih volim ili ne. Tata je radio kao avio-inženjer, pa sam kao dete provodila vreme na ae- rodromu, a pre nekih sedam godi- na mi se desio obrt u di-džej karijeri i počela sam da putujem u proseku dva-tri puta nedeljno. Pre pandemi- je sam ulazila u nekoliko stotina avi- ona godišnje. I pored svega toga, još se izno- va oduševljavam tim čudom da mi kao mali ljudi možemo da gledamo svet iznad oblaka, tamo gde uvek si- ja sunce. Avion mi je često jedina prilika da ostanem sama sa sobom i svojim mislima, isključena iz nepre- kidnog protoka informacija na in- ternetu. I onda dolaze najbolje ide- je. Žao mi je što nisam pisala knjige u avionima, mada nikad nije kasno da počnem. Bez čega ne letite? – Uvek imam dva para sluša-
Aeroplanes are an inev- itability of my life, so I don’t wonder too much about whether or not I like them. My dad worked as an aeronautical engineer, so I spent time at the airport as a child, and around seven years ago I experienced a turn- around in my DJing career and start- ed travelling, on average, 2-3 times a week. Prior to the pandemic, I was boarding several hundred planes a year. And despite all of that, I still de- light time and again in the miracle that we, as little people, can view the world above the clouds, where the sun always shines. A plane is often my on- ly opportunity to spend time alone, with myself and my thoughts, turned off from the internet’s constant flow of information. And it’s then that the best ideas come. I’m sorry I haven’t written books on planes, though it’s never too late to start. What don’t you fly without? I always have two pairs of

lica, jedne za slušanje di-džej muzike i pripremanje setova i jedne za slušanje albuma. Tu je i sveska u koju zapisujem ideje, planove i rešenja, jer uvek najbolje vidim iz ptičje perspektive. Ne odvajam se od laptopa da bih mogla da radim i u avionu, ponesem neke grickalice i kremu za ruke, pa put pod noge :-)

ing to albums. There’s also a notebook that I use to write down ideas, plans and solu- tions, because I always see best from a bird’s perspective. I don’t part from my laptop, so I can al- so work on the plane, and I bring some snacks and hand cream, then I hit the road :-)
