Executive Director Shay Vital’s favorite thing about Melaleuca is its ability to bring people closer together. Not only has she been able to work alongside her mom and her best friends but she has also reconnected with a close childhood friend after losing touch for years. “My friend is now a Director 2, and we talk every day,” Shay says. “Growing together is the most rewarding thing! Beyond the financial benefits of Melaleuca, this company deepens relationships and encourages a sense of community.” Rather than focus on her own life, Shay finds it more fulfilling to watch others improve their situations through Melaleuca. “This company is truly all about enhancing lives,” she says. “I approach my business with two questions in mind: ‘How many people can benefit from having a little extra money coming in?’ and ‘Whose health could be improved by using these products?’” Encouraging a healthy lifestyle is a top priority for Shay and her husband, both of whom put an emphasis on staying active and eating well. They spend time golfing together, walking their beloved dog, Chicago, and getting out in nature for hikes.
