Paving the Way to Make E-Mobility Affordable Volkswagen Sachsen GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, one of world's largest and most successful automobile manufacturers. In its position at the forefront of the electric car revolution, Volkswagen sees affordable mobility as a key green initiative and is committed to selling more than one million electric vehicles annually by 2025 as part of its “Strategy TOGETHER 2025” program. Its manufacturing site in Zwickau, Germany, already runs on green energy to minimize the environmental impact of car production and was selected to run a financial and production integration project. To further its program and digitally transform its business, Volkswagen looked to create a solid digital foundation for a new global finance system.
