For­ tunately, the soldiers themselves know better. Already some of our preachers in this country have begun preaching this same false and soul-destroying Gos­ pel. Those who do it are certainly doing the devil’s work. It is to be hoped that the soldiers in this country will not be deceived by this false and ridiculous doctrine anymore than they have been in England. But it is to be feared that
