Air Serbia continues regional fleet renewal

The Serbian national airline’s latest two planes were both constructed in 2017 and are younger than the rest of the ATR fleet. Both aircraft are configured to accommodate 70 seats, of Geven’s Prestige brand, which provide passengers with greater comfort. The planes are equipped with two turboprop PW127M en- gines, are 27.17 m long and have a wingspan of 27.05 m. They are able to reach a maximum cruising air- speed of approximately 500 km/h, while their maxi- mum range at full capacity is about 1,500 km. The national airline will use ATR 72-600 planes to operate its regional flights along scheduled routes from Belgrade to Banja Luka, Bari, Vienna, Bucharest, Bologna, Ljubljana, Podgorica, Prague, Salzburg, Sa- rajevo, Skopje, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Tivat, Tirana, Trieste and Zagreb, as well as along seasonal routes to Du- brovnik, Pula, Split, Rijeka and Zadar. Flights using the- se new planes will be conducted along the scheduled route from Kraljevo to Istanbul and, seasonally, to Tivat and Thessaloniki, but also along the scheduled route from Niš to Ljubljana, and seasonally to Athens.
With the renting of new planes of this ty- pe, Air Serbia is continuing the renewal of its regional fleet, which began in January and will conclude by the end of the year. Novi avioni YU-ALW i YU-ALX srpskog nacional- nog avio-prevoznika proizvedeni su 2017. i noviji su od ostalih letelica u ATR floti. Obe letelice imaju konfigura- ciju sa 70 sedišta The Geven Prestige , koja putnicima omogućava veći komfor i udobnost. Avioni su opre- mljeni sa dva turbo-prop motora PW127M, dugački su 27,17 metara sa rasponom krila od 27,05 metara. Naj- veća brzina koju mogu dostići tokom krstarenja iznosi oko 500 km/h, dok je maksimalni dolet sa punim kapa- citetom oko 1.500 kilometara. Nacionalna avio-kompanija će avionima tipa ATR 72-600 obavljati regionalne letove na redovnim linija- ma iz Beograda za Banjaluku, Bari, Beč, Bukurešt, Bo- lonju, Ljubljanu, Podgoricu, Prag, Salcburg, Sarajevo, Skoplje, Sofiju, Solun, Tivat, Tiranu, Trst i Zagreb, kao i na sezonskim linijama do Dubrovnika, Pule, Splita, Ri- jeke i Zadra. Letovi novim avionima biće realizovani i na redovnoj liniji iz Kraljeva za Istanbul i sezonskim do Tivta i Soluna, kao i na redovnoj liniji iz Niša za Ljubljanu i se- zonskoj do Atine.

Nacionalna avio-kompanija iznajmljivanjem novih aviona tog tipa nastavlja veliko podmlađiva- nje regionalne flote koje je započeto u januaru, a biće finalizovano do kraja godine. Avion YU-ALW dobio je vi- zuelni identitet srpskog nacionalnog avio-prevoznika u Monpeljeu, u Francuskoj, i stigao je u Beograd počet- kom maja. – Drago nam je što nastavljamo sa obnavljanjem regionalne flote i što ćemo u glavni deo letnje sezone ući sa još dva nova aviona jer nas očekuju uzbudljiv pe- riod, širenje mreže destinacija i veliki broj letova.
